Godzilla PS3/PS4

So there has been this Godzilla game that came out a few weeks ago in Japan. Its coming out in North America and in Europe sometime in the summer. I played a demo of it from the Japanese PSN and it looks pretty good and its very fun! I was gonna import it but to my surprise it got localized so I decided to wait instead. It features a cast of classic monsters from the films as well as the new Godzilla from the 2014 film. You unlock him by finishing the game at least once or if you pre-ordered the Japanese version you will be given a code to unlock him (Japanese PSN required). Im just gonna assume you need to get a first print copy or something.

From what I've played its pretty fun. You can destroy buildings and fight monsters that get in your way. Native resolution is 720p but that dont stop the game from being fun! The visuals look pretty good too, YouTube videos dont do it justice!

The Japanese version came out a few weeks ago and will come out in the Summer for North America and Europe. You can try out the demo if you so happen to have a Japanese PSN.

Andy - what say you after watching all those godzilla/shark-vs-anything movies?

Not sure if this'll be something I'm into, but hey, I did enjoy King Kong surprisingly.

I do love Godzilla and other monster films, but I'm not sure about this game. 0.0 It's just a personal taste thing, really. I watched some gameplay videos on YouTube and it didn't excite me that much, kind of like how I love the Pacific Rim film, but wasn't too impressed with the game.

I think it's the pacing and the way they frame the action that I'm not fond of in the Godzilla game. I'd prefer it if they set the action up like in the video below: it can be fast paced, so you can chain attacks quicker (it seems more impressive, to me), and the way the action is framed during the cinematic attacks really draws me in and gives me an adrenlaine rush when used in a fluid way with normal attacks.
